Before Surgery Checklist
Once you have your surgery booked at the medical center, you will be contacted by our Anesthesia Department for a Pre-Anesthesia Check. This is important to ensure that you are fit for surgery, that you complete all required bloodwork, and that you have received all pre-operative instructions. This is also when you will meet your Anesthesiologist and ask any questions you may have about the procedure.
If you would like an all-female staff for your surgery – please let us know by either calling the Anesthesia Department (22212888 - ext. 30) or informing the Anesthesia Reception during your Anesthesia Check-Up.
It is important to follow these guidelines before surgery to prevent delays or cancellations.
